Description

Per Curiam. In October 1976, appellant Wright was issued a "Notice of Suspension for scheme failure, second occurrence," by his supervisor, Barnes, just before the end of his shift. Wright immediately summoned his union representative, Brhel, in order to discuss his options with her. She and Wright asked Barnes whether the general foreman, Klebowski, had anything to do with the suspension, but were told he did not. Their suspicion evidently stemmed from events earlier that day: Wright had expressed to Klebowski his view that the job he was on required more than one worker. Klebowski then took some time to find a different assignment for Wright, who was a "part-time flexible distribution clerk."
